Renewing Indiana Together

The time is now. Indiana needs renewal. We are 41st of 50 in Health Care, 35th of 50 in household income, 27th of 50 in Education, 42nd of 50 in Infant Mortality, 33rd of 50 in incarceration rates.  The only thing in which Indiana is #1 is keeping nearly $2 billion in a “rainy day” fund. (McKinsey & Co.; USNews and World Report). Well, it is raining in Indiana.

We deserve better.  You deserve better. Our children deserve better.

We can lead the United States in innovation if we change our outlook to what it means to be “of the people, by the people, and for the people.”  Government should be for all of us; not 1% of us. Join us, as we build a movement to change the way that Indiana is governed.

Please Vote May 8 for Mark Kurowski, Democrat, Senate District 1!

In the face of a 230% increase in “opioid orphans” in the Department of Children Services, Gov. Holcomb should order a special session, ask the Senate to investigate solutions, open up the rainy day fund for this crisis, focus on individual outcome based care, and request resignations.

It is time that “Pro-Life” included the economic, education, and health needs of women and incentives for men to participate in the raising of our children. Expand FMLA, Wage Equality, Living Wage While Pregnant, Education Grants, and more. Let’s eliminate the economic pressure that puts our children at risk.
